With the resistance spot welding unit VAS 6525, all approved welding repairs on Volkswagen Group vehicles can be carried out. The unit is water-cooled. The set welding current is adjusted non-stop to ensure uniformity. With the automatic welding current monitoring function, the unit detects faults such as paint remains or insufficient contact force. It features a water-cooled transformer, water-cooled diodes and direct cable cooling. The weld process control system uses digital storage with up to 100 different weld points within the integrated software.

The electrode arms have a wide opening angle (for good accessibility).
Cooling reaches as far as the electrode caps.
The system is a water-cooled circuit module with integrated water back-cooling.
