To prevent unintentional triggering of the side airbags during assembly and disassembly work on the driver seat, front passenger seat and rear bench seat, the ignition lead of the respective side airbag module must be earthed to its housing for reasons of safety. This is done by means of the adapters listed below.
Please note that one adapter is required for each side.
For the safe and clearly arranged storage of the adapter, the storage case VAS 5254 can be procured as an optional accessory. The case is also included in the scope of delivery of the auxiliary airbag tester VAS 5056D.
