With the thread repair sets, you can carry out thread repairs according to manufacturer specifications. The sets in different sizes contain, in addition to thread chasers and insertion tools, in some cases drill bits as well as diverse tools such as thread inserts, pin breakers, sleeves and seat milling tool.
For correct use, a conventional thread tap or clamping tool VAS 6627/6 and cutting oil VAS 6627/7 should be used. Please note that the sleeves are not included in the delivery of the thread repair set M6 VAS 6917, these are available as a Porsche replacement part.
